Larionovs had at least 1 point in every game that he played in this past month, with 16 total points in 7 games for the Rangers. The Latvian has been an offensive force for his team so far this season, as he currently is averaging a stellar 2 points per game. The 2000 has been a great addition to the Rangers power-play this season as well, tallying 5 power play points in October. Larionovs will look to stay hot as the calendar turns to November, and the Rangers hit the ice for 8 games this month.

Crespo was a force both on the blue line and offensively for the Express last month, tallying 9 points in 10 total games. The young defenseman was huge in their win against the New England Wolves last week as he picked up 4 points. The performance led Crespo being named a TSR Hockey Star of the Week.
The 2000 will look to stretch his point streak to 4 games when the Express return to action at Breakaway Ice Center in the 2nd showcase next weekend. November will be somewhat of a quiet month for Crespo and the Express, as after the showcase the squad will play only 2 more games before turning the page for December.
There were a number of goalies with strong months of October, but Kern stood out the most in all of the EHLP. Kern started and won all 5 games that he played this past month, as he remains perfect so far this season. The '98 netminder stopped 144 out of the 152 shots that he faced, giving him a stellar .947 save percentage and a GAA of just 1.60. Kern and the Rangers will look to carry over their strong play into the month of November with a slate of 8 games ahead, including a two-day showcase at their home rink in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.
