Also, this week's EHLP Team of the Week is the Valley Jr. Warriors, with Honorable Mentions going out to Mason Emoff (Vermont Lumberjacks) and Luke Aquaro (Philadelphia Revolution).

Esperto's seven-point week accounts for almost all of his points this season. The native of South Huntington, New York has played in 16 games for the Applecore, and now has eight total points on the year. Esperto and the Applecore will look to carry the momentum of Monday's win into this weekend's two-game set in Pennsylvania against the Lehigh Valley Jr. Rebels.

Trailing 3-1 early in the 3rd period, the Jr. Flyers mounted an epic comeback in route to a 5-3 win over their division rival. The win improves their record up to 21-6-1 (43 points), and they're currently seven points back of the Revolution, with two games in hand, in the South Conference standings. Savino will look to continue to anchor his team this weekend when they face-off in a home-and-home series against the New Jersey Rockets.

Brian Smith

Smith and the Warriors picked up four important points this past week, against a pair of North Conference rivals. With the two victories, the Warriors are now 16-10-3 on the season, and their 35 points puts them in a tie for 4th place in the standings.
